Senators should oppose asbestos act

Years ago, in the process of simply doing my job, I was exposed to asbestos.
Today, I suffer from asbestosis and will have health problems for the rest of my life.Sadly, my story is not unique.
There are tens of thousands of people just like me around the country.
Thousands of those are fighting fatal forms of cancer as a result.

Many of us have filed lawsuits to get compensation for our injuries.
Some have gotten settlements through the court system; others still are in the process.
But now some people have a plan to take away our rights.
Some in Congress have proposed taking all asbestos cases out of the court system and creating an Asbestos Trust Fund.
